A Program of Open Hearth Works
- This workforce development and neighborhood beautification program is a partnership between Open Hearth Works and the City of Hartford launched in 2022
- Neighborhood Ambassadors work part-time cleaning up major corridors in the city of Hartford
- The program provides not only stable part-time paying employment and resume-building work experience for participants, but also the opportunity to give back to the community
Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam joined the Neighborhood Ambassadors to clean an area of Park Street in January 2024
